(Lose Weight Now!) — Researchers at Duke University say aerobic activity may be beneficial to not just your heart, but your mind, as well.
In a study published in the online journal Neurology, from the American Academy of Neurology, researchers say walking or cycling for just 35 minutes three times per week may improve thinking skills.
For the study, researches followed 160 people over the age of 65 who had cognitive impairment but had not been officially diagnosed with dementia.
After six months of exercise, scores on thinking tests had improved by the equivalent of reversing 9 years of aging.
